Plant-Based Chocolate Banana Bread

Need something healthy when you’re craving something sweet? This chocolate banana bread is a perfect treat for everyone! Try it plain or with ice cream for a great treat!
Plant-Based Chocolate Banana Bread (Gluten-Free too!)
Ingredients
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 cup gluten-free flour (or regular flour)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 mashed bananas
- 1/2 cup honey or agave
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 3 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×5 pan.
- Mash bananas in a bowl and add wet ingredients (agave, almond milk, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract)
- Mix in dry ingredients (flours, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon)
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 35-45 minutes (test with a toothpick in the center! When done, toothpick will come out clean)
