Crispy Air-Fryer Brussels Sprouts

As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s time to elevate your side dish game and add a delicious twist to your traditional spread. Say goodbye to bland Brussels sprouts and hello to a mouthwatering, crispy Brussels sprouts recipe that will steal the show at your holiday feast!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved through the stems (cut larger ones in quarters)
  • 3 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice, plus more for serving
  • ½ tsp soy sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat air fryer to 400 degrees, if preheating is necessary.
  2. Place Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket; drizzle with 1 tablespoon oil and sea salt. Fry for 15 minutes, shaking basket or stirring the sprouts halfway through.
  3. Sprinkle sprouts with garlic. Continue to fry until the garlic is golden brown, another 2 to 4 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, bring balsamic vinegar to a simmer. Continue to simmer until it’s thickened and starts to look syrupy, adjusting heat as necessary to prevent burning, for about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, lime juice, and soy sauce.
  5. Transfer Brussels sprouts to a serving platter and drizzle with the balsamic dressing. Squeeze more lime juice on top to taste.
