Plant-Based Chocolate Banana Bread

Need something healthy when you’re craving something sweet? This chocolate banana bread is a perfect treat for everyone! Try it plain or with ice cream for a great treat!

Plant-Based Chocolate Banana Bread (Gluten-Free too!)

 

Ingredients
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour (or regular flour)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup honey or agave
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 3 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×5 pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a bowl and add wet ingredients (agave, almond milk, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract)
  3. Mix in dry ingredients (flours, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon)
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 35-45 minutes (test with a toothpick in the center! When done, toothpick will come out clean)
  6. Enjoy!
