Personal Training Success Story | Deja Powell
We have the world’s greatest members, and we love to show them off. Here is a story about the amazing, Deja Powell, from West Valley. Deja is blind, but still makes it into the gym! She is an inspiration, and we are thrilled to be able to share her story with you.
Here is what Deja had to say about her experience at VASA:
“I have loved my experience at VASA in West Valley City. In the very beginning I signed up for a personal trainer, Mitchell, and it completely transformed my life. I am healthier than I’ve been since high school and I’m stronger than ever before. I hired Mitch once a week for 30 minutes and that alone has completely transformed me. I have lost 33 pounds and 8% body fat, and more importantly, I feel so much better!
The staff has been so kind anytime I come in, and several know me by name which makes me feel welcome. I am so glad I chose this gym. I’ve become a whole new person since joining a year and a half ago.
I am also blind, and Mitchell has done an amazing job adapting to my needs. The staff even welcomed our adult students from the Utah training center for the blind and taught them about fitness, how to use the machines, and various exercises they could do. Our students love the experience and the staff was excellent and stepping forward to make it happen.
Great Gym! Great people! Great results!” -Deja Powell
