Easy Protein Ice Cream Recipes

These protein-packed recipes prove you can have the best of both worlds: sweet, creamy treats that fuel your body and taste like dessert. Whether you prefer a classic ice cream maker, have a trusty blender, or are team Ninja Creami, these simple recipes are easy to whip up and perfect for cooling off without compromising your health goals. 

Classic Vanilla

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ cups + 2 tbsp of milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 ½ tsp sugar-free vanilla instant pudding mix
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender, ice cream maker, or Ninja Creami and blend until smooth.
  2. Freeze for 24 hours.
  3. Add 2 tbsp of milk and either blend or mix in Ninja Creami until desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Add any toppings (like chocolate, nuts, fruits or cookies) and spin or blend again.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

 

Blueberry Cheesecake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup coconut milk (or preferred milk alternative)
  • 2 tbsp light cream cheese 
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 
  • ¼ cup blueberry syrup 
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries  

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients (besides fresh blueberries) to a blender, ice cream maker, or Ninja Creami and blend until smooth.
  2. Freeze ice cream for at least 1-2 hours.
  3. Add back into ice cream maker or Ninja Creami and blend until desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Add fresh blueberries and enjoy!

 

Chocolate Peanut Butter

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Fairlife chocolate milk (or preferred chocolate milk brand)
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk (or preferred milk alternative)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free chocolate instant pudding mix
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 8 mini peanut butter cups

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add the chocolate milk, almond milk, pudding mix, chocolate protein powder, peanut butter powder, and sea salt to a blender, ice cream maker, or Ninja Creami and blend until smooth.
  2. Freeze for 24 hours until frozen solid.
  3. Remove from freezer and either mix in Ninja Creami or blend until desired consistency if achieved.
  4. Make a small hole in the center of the ice cream, add your peanut butter cups, and mix.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
