Light Therapy

Light therapy is a treatment that uses low wavelength red light to improve the skin’s appearance. Research has shown RLT increases collagen production, improves circulation, and aids in muscle recovery.

Studies have shown there are all kinds of benefits to red light therapy when it comes to enhancing your fitness or even improving weight loss results. From increasing muscle mass, strength, and endurance to delaying the onset of muscle fatigue and increasing oxygen uptake, red light therapy has been shown to be an effective way to speed up muscle recovery and promote quicker healing of injuries by reducing pain and inflammation as well as improving circulation to muscle groups.

HOW TO USE LIGHT THERAPY

ALL YOU NEED IS TEN MINUTES

When you’re ready to enjoy light therapy, head to the check-in desk at the front of the club and tell a VASA team member you’d like to use the machine—each session can last up to 12 minutes. Upon entering the private room, you’ll have three minutes to remove excess clothing. Once you’re settled in the machine, hit the power button to start your session. Don’t forget to bring your own eye protection (we also sell goggles in our clubs)!
