I started personal training with Blake in the beginning of 2021. I have some pretty hefty fitness goals and I didn’t know if I would be able to realistically achieve them. I didn’t even know who I made my personal training appointment with I just showed up not knowing what to expect. I have been through so many different gym programs and have trained lightly in a multitude of ways. When I came to Blake, we sat down and he asked about my goals. I told him that I wanted to have my dream body. Again, I did not think that I could actually achieve this and thought that I would have to settle for what my body would want to do. I had struggled with my self-esteem since I knew what self-esteem was. I can confidently say that after one month of seeing Blake, I fell in love with my body for the first time... I am almost 25. I was beginning to see how strong my body was, and all the things it was capable of. If something does not feel right, Blake will not tell you to push through it. He will dig deep to understand what part does not feel right, then will make the proper adjustments to ensure not only your safety, and that the alternative exercise will still get you the results that you want. Blake is incredibly knowledgeable and what really sealed the deal for me was when I came in with a knee pain that I received from outside of the gym hiking. I told him that I did not think I could squat that day and not only did he give me a great exercise alternative that did not cause pain, he also gave me a few other exercises to actually help heal the injury.
