VASA FITNESS CONTINUES RAPID GROWTH WITH 30 PERCENT INCREASE IN CLUBS IN 2020
Strengthens Presence in Existing States Expands to Wisconsin and Illinois
DENVER, CO and OREM, UT — FEBRUARY 18 — Today VASA Fitness announces the continuation of its rapid growth with a projected 30 percent increase in clubs expected in 2020 with the opening of 13 new locations. Part of this expansion involves adding clubs in Wisconsin and Illinois. VASA’s 2020 expansion plan is another step in helping the company bring its innovative and affordable fitness to everyone by rapidly increasing its presence over the next five years. In 2019, VASA grew its club count year-over-year by 25 percent and now operates 45 locations, including expansion to the state of Indiana with two recent openings in Lafayette and Indianapolis.
VASA is currently the high-value low-price (HVLP) market leader in Colorado and Utah and operates locations in Oklahoma, Arizona, Kansas and Indiana. New VASA locations to open in 2020 include Herriman and Logan, Utah; Westminster, Colorado; Indianapolis, Indiana; New Berlin, Wisconsin; and Villa Park, Joliet and Arlington Heights, Illinois, among others to be announced.

VASA seeks out properties that can house all of its functional areas of the gym, to accommodate its “mall of fitness” approach to club design where members can find what they need to meet them where they are in their fitness journey. Each 60,000 square foot VASA location includes Group Fitness classes, Studio Red (high intensity interval training), Studio Cycle, a training cage, functional training areas, a free weights area, Olympic lifting, expansive cardio deck, large lap pool, hydro-massage lounge, retail area, basketball court, spa, steam, sauna and wonderful KidCare services for $15 per month for up to 90 minutes a day. VASA’s jaw-dropping interior and exterior design are modern and bold featuring red, gray, black and white color schematics.
