VASA Fitness Holds Donation Drive to Help Those Affected by Hurricane Harvey

VASA teams up with Zippy Shell and Real Estate Essentials to collect food and supplies that will be sent to the Houston area

SEPTEMBER 1, 2017—SALT LAKE CITY—VASA Fitness partners with Zippy Shell and Real Estate Essentials to hold a donation drive to collect food and supplies that will be sent to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston. Zippy Shell, a portable storage and moving company, will set up storage trailers at six VASA Fitness locations throughout Utah. Once the trailers are full, Zippy Shell will deliver the trailers to disaster relief organizations and other Houston agencies to distribute the food and supplies to those in need.

Trailers will be at the following VASA Fitness locations:

• West Valley (Centennial)
• South Jordan
• Murray (Van Winkle)
• Orem (University
• Spanish Fork

Community members are encouraged to donate the following items: Protein bars, diabetic supplies, single serving type foods with protein, canned foods that can be opened without can openers, paper towels and toilet paper. Bottled water, pet food, feminine supplies, diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, snacks and drinks for kids. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, new underwear in package, hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes.
